1st Seminar & Clinical Laboratory: Neuropsychological Assessment of Phonological and Visuospatial Memory

The 1st Seminar & Clinical Laboratory: Neuropsychological Assessment of Phonological and Visuospatial Memory held by the Educations Team of HNPS, will take place on Saturday, 24/10/2020, 9:00-17:30.

The seminar will be conducted at the Library of Health Sciences, located in Dilou 1, Athens.

The purpose of the seminar is to present, assess, score, and interpret the findings of four neuropsychological tools responsible for the operational and capable assessment of the phonological and visuospatial memory skills..

Participants will have the opportunity to fully acknowledge and grasp every presented tool, as well as to discuss upon difficulties during practice when assessing patients.

These are the following neuropsychological tools that will be presented:

  • Greek Verbal Learning Test
  • Rey Complex Figure Test
  • Hopkins Verbal Learning Test
  • Brief Visuospatial Memory Test–Revised

The Seminar/Clinical Laboratory is strictly addressed to health care professionals registered as Neuropsychologists or Postgraduate, PhD and PostDoctoral Neuropsychology students.

The Seminar/Clinical Laboratory themed “Neuropsychological Assessment of Phonological and Visuospatial Memory” will comprise the beginning of a series Seminars/Clinical Laboratories held by the Educations Teams of HNPS. Their main purpose will be the training of Neuropsychologists on the aforementioned neuropsychological tools examining cognitive functioning.

The event is under the aegis of the Medical School of UoA, School of Psychology of UoA, School of Psychology of AUTH and the Association of Greek Psychologists.
